Downloading Content Question

I am the proud owner of both Trainz 2004 & 2006.
Not to sure on smoothing however and I need some help from someone.
When it comes to downloading content, lets say I'm searching for content for the 2006 version, Is all the content compatible with 2006 ( e.g. Trainz 2004, UT and so on ) or must I only have the 2006 little box checked there when I'm searching for content ?
I mean the variety is so much more vast when you have all the boxes checked, I'm hoping everything is compatible with 2006.
Please let me know.

Most items including routes are fully backward compatible though I understand scenarios can be a problem

Yes TRS2004 most items will work in TRS2006.

And yes you can import your content from TRS2004 to TRS2006 found here (http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=174).

Note that '06 is a little more stringent on error checking - it will flag errors that previous versions ignored. You'll probably have to make some fixes to some of the content you import, but it's usually pretty easy.
