I am trying to install couplers on a bay window caboose. Below are the instructions from the DLS for automatic coupler with brake hose. It is supposed to install as a bogey. I know how to change bogies, I know there is an add bogey tag, but from there I am lost. TRS06

Limfront/limback should be 0.45 to 0.60m from the face of the buffer beam. Bogey attachment point is {0, limfront + 1.5m, 0}. Coupler pocket bottom 0.84m, top 0.89m, width 0.35m. If no coupler pocket, use black rectangle on buffer beam texture instead.

Are you trying to add attachment points in GMax, or trying to change a coupler on an existing model?

I thought they were couplers you could add on like a bogey. They are kuid 124017:5007:1 on the DLS.

I've actually been through this before, with no success. I'm thinking you downloaded a mesh from the DLS, and according to the instructions seems to be intended for use with Gmax; ie: someone was kind enough to build a coupler mesh and texture it for others to use on their models.

I don't think you can add it to a model already made, unless it has the three bogie system already to accomodate changing couplers, and then you would only have to change the reference # in the config to reflect the new coupler.:(

I was afraid of that. I have seen where some items of rolling stock have have additional spots for couplers in the bogey tag in content creator, so I was hoping that somehow I could add bogey. There seems to be no cabeese or flat cars with air hoses. I know there are roller bearing trucks with the couplers built in specifically for use on a caboose but I'm not so keen on their appearance. I like to let the little things drive me bonkers. Thank you for your reply.
