I had to reload Trainz 2006 onto the computer & now, while the rest of the game works fine, Content Manager Plus freezes up & doesn't allow me to add things to the game except every once in a while. Does anybody know of anything I can do to get it to work as well as it used to?

I am thinking it is not frozen , simply rebuilding files , let it set , possibly as long as 30 minutes ( there is no timer and/or bar showing it's progress ). You can do Ctrl-Alt-Del and see if it is running .
Just a thought --- ,DLR

I tried, I let it sit for just over 30 minutes but when I came back to the computer 99 or so percent of CMP was white/blank. I also tried, "Ctrl-Alt-Del," & CMP had stopped running after I had done hardly anything, if anything.

Try this: Look in the TRS2006 folder for the asset.tdx file and delete it. Also check to see if there is an asset.bku file in the cache folder of the TRS2006 folder. If there is then delete it too. Now start TRS2006 and choose the start button from the launcher. It will take a while depending on how much stuff you have added but soon enough TRS2006 will come up to the normal menu screen. You should be good to go then.

CMP requires a robust Open GL installation, that may be your problem.

Hold ESC key down as CMP starts. It stops CMP trying to log on and crashing.

Can you run a DxDiag and post the results here?
