I've recently upgraded to TRS2006, but even with the latest drivers for my video card, I cannot get the OpenGL features to "Pass."
Is there a work around for this? Or is there anything else I can use to get the custom content from the DLS?
Thanks...

You have to have a working CMP to get DLS assets into TRS2006 because of the database structure that encrypts the config.txt file into a config.chump format. And, you have to have a functioning OpenGL driver to get CMP to work, only because the Content Creator Plus function uses it to render a picture of the mesh file. Unfortunately there isn't any way around this that I know of. You should contact the manufacturer of your video card about the OpenGL driver problem, maybe an older version might work.

Do you know what the OpenGL requirements are? What determines whether the cards gets a "Pass" rating?
The highest version of OpenGL that my video card supports is 1.3 - is that not enough? Or are there other requirements?

Just so when you run TrainzDiag.exe the Test Results section shows something like this:
Test Results
------------
CPU Speed : ~2.42 GHZ : Passed
System Memory : 2046 MB : Passed
Hard Drive Space: 164.84 GB Free : Passed
OpenGL : Version 2.1 : Passed
.

Haha - thanks...
Guess if I could find a way to force the card to use OpenGL 2.0 I'd be okay??
Great...

I don't think it matters which version of OpenGL your using, just so it passes TrainzDiag.exe.

Okay, what does it require to "Pass" TrainzDiag.exe? It doesn't tell me why my system doesn't pass, it just says "Warning!" None of the available drivers seem to make a difference...
It's frustrating... :'(
Thanks, for the replys, though Bob...

To solve the problem change to Direct X

I've tried that - I run the game in DirectX, as it runs smoother there. (which is odd to me, cause OpenGL ran UTC better...)
However, I'm not having a problem with the game itself - only with CMP.
Can I change CMP to run on DX? If so, I have no idea how - could you please walk me through it?
Thanks for all the help, guys...

No can do. The Content Creator Plus (CCP) editor in CMP uses OpenGL to display mesh files so CMP is set up to require OpenGL whether you use CCP or not. Bummer, eh?
