I haven't found the site yet, I'm still looking. However I pm'd with the info. I can, if you want, repack the unit and send it to you. I've searched for the emu on your site but can't find it. I can't help but wonder if it's not produced by you, but someone has tacked on the Ibertrainz Icon onto it...

Well, our Winter Screenshot Competition is over and it's about time for those interested in the results to have a look at the screenies...2nd runner-up: Ricardo (ricalvarez2) for his screenie

http://web.ibertrainz.eu/concurso/concurso6/Albums/Album4/Source/23.jpg

First runner-up: Deolindo (Akodo) for his screenie

http://web.ibertrainz.eu/concurso/concurso6/Albums/Album4/Source/02.jpg

And the winner is: Jose (joseag) for his screenie

http://web.ibertrainz.eu/concurso/concurso6/Albums/Album4/Source/18.jpg

BTW, the three winners also got this magnificent house by ZatoVisualMasonry :hehe:http://foro.ibertrainz.eu/attachments/chaletibtz.jpg

and all entrants were gifted this virtual marble&bronze thinker by ZatoVisualHammering to thank them all their neurological activity while creating their screenies :hehe:http://www.zatovisualworks.com/images/pensador_ibtzero.jpg

And finally noteworthy:Our dear friend Sura sent us ("out of the race") these two wonderful screenies which you wouldn't forgive us if we didn't show you...

In my humble opinion, Akodo should have won the screenshot comp. He had clearly put more work into his pic than the other entrants. Look at the car embedded in the snow, and the footprints leading away from it. Look at the grass showing through the snow, and the people dotted about.

Akodo is the winner in my book. His screenie is excellent, and a lot of thought and work has obviously gone into it.

Best wishes,
Padster

Hi Padster,

I'll tell him about your opinion which, of course, will please him a lot. ;) Thank you for your evaluation. You know how hard judging tasks are -the IBTZ staff had a difficult job-.

Please next time send your entry, we'll be glad to welcome it.

Thanks Alberte. It is only my opinion. All the screenies are of the usual high standard we have come to expect from the IberTrainz community but I just thought that Akodo's pic in particular stood out.

By the way, those buildings look great. Well done everyone!

Best wishes,

Hi Mike,

In real railroading, Spanish Talgo consists don't operate pushed, always pulled. But Trainz is another world... do what you like or as my motto here says...

"Use Trainz your own way"

But in fact, rear end coach units have no driving cab, either in 1:1 or in these sets.

Available now at IBTZ and ZVW for those with no FCT for the DS...

Wonderful route by Ronny/Laika and a wonderful generous gesture by you Alberte.

Be careful however with your statements because Tony Hilliam doesn't really like Trainz fans who don't buy FCT's every year. Worse, he even finds them to be not true customers not having the true Trainz heart and denies you a "normal" test run with the alpha-alpha version of TS2009 and he tells the world you are considered a "non-constructive" participant when you disagree with him because without a FCT you are not a serious Trainz enthusiast.

I hope you will also vote for change Alberte, because change is what is needed to get the Trainz product back on the right track before it becomes Fury.

Dear Zwabbie,

Our policy at IBTZ is well-known (by Tony and the remaining Auranites and you all). We do foster alternative downloading sites for Trainz (such as ours or TPR Downloading Depot). We do encourage the DS to exist for years to come. The FCT is a valid commercial attitudinal option but not compulsory at all (everybody knows) ;).

Keep coming... maybe your new post as mod is nearer (and you haven't noticed yet :hehe:)

Hi,

Thx Alberte, great work.

@Zwabberaar
Well about the FCT ticket(ofcource not every1 has the money to buy all that is coming for Trainz). But also when DLS etc. is not working this is a very great option. I think there is nothing wrong here. Not bying a FCT ticket doesn,t mean not a real Trainz heart. Look at my number. As example i had the first version but only had once a FCT ticket. And some FCT tickets that was included in other Trainz versions.

Great to see some new work from the team Alberte.

When I saw your post yesterday I had a friend here and she thought the new work looked great. She knew I was involved in Trainz but did not understand what that actually involved. Your screenshots changed some of her thought's. I then showed her 2009 and 2004 and what we can do with Trainz, she was amazed. If she could I think she may be a new member, unfortunately her situation will not allow that for now.

Aircraft Carrier
2 Guided Missile Carriers

and I also read possibly a Nuclear Submarine

The Planes do not fly, though you can place them in the sky to look as though they are flying. Otherwise just use them to fill up an Airfield in case of an attack :hehe:

Zatoaircraft are really odd guys... They can afterburn, smoke, drink, have dinner and much more... but maybe they can't fly... who knows!

I do respect "flyable" aircraft models in Trainz very much. Of late Craig is showing us the next-to-come "flyable" wonders by our friend Ian (aka) Vulcan the master. See --> http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=50753 . Really awesome worthhaving models!

But... I (we all) do also know the limitations of Trainz as a model flying tool. I have sometimes labelled Trainz as Total Transportation Simulator since every kind of ways of carrying people and things can be represented but it can't be good at every aspect of taking things from a place to another. ;)

There are many static elements in Trainz and maybe they should be kept being static so as not to endanger trainz operation performance.

That's why I've never intended my trainzy model aircraft to be "flyable.driveable.trackable" ;)

As Craig says, I think they look reasonably good idling-hanging over on some routes related to airfields or simply a distant bird in the beautiful trainzy skies we all can enjoy.

I admit that in comparison to specific Flight Simulators models, mine lack the detail and fine appearance they should -which I always try to hide focusing in fine texturing-, but Flight Simulators lack many other things we enjoy within Trainz every day. Flight Simulators can result in boring me, Trainz seems not to achieve that :hehe: after an eight-year trainzy career.

:hehe: BTW, I don't know why one of my Spanish Air Force F-18 is included built-in in TS2010 if nobody seems to be using it on the new routes offered there. Was it a mysterious mistake?

Ok! I'll keep the first image!

However, Iber crew does incredible work, and is sometimes lost ... so, expect more updates from time to time! I'm very proud to update those posts for the community to enjoy, since Albert been a true "internet" friend for many years now, something that very rare in any year to fine!!!
