I already noticed about the tip&tricks sticky, but its not what i actuly search. i search a guide that can learn me to make a quick and easy map, i already figured out how to place buildings etc. but idk how to make those maps bigger, i am only able to make a map such size as the airport .
tnx.

The link is one for 2004 and may be a good starting point. The functionality should all be pretty much the same.

In Surveyor open the Topology tools, click "Advanced" and select "extend" (section). In the Surveyor main window navigate to the edge of your existing baseboard where you want to add another one and click. A new baseboard will be created.

This (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Trainz/Surveyor_Hints) section of the Trainz wikibook might be useful.

There is an excellent 2006 manual in the docs folder of that version and the same one is in the 2009 docs folder with an HTML link to the more '09 dedicated online manual.
Hope that helps. I think it's just about all in there!
