sorry if this isnt where you post about trainz problems, couldnt see a better forum.

I'm getting these weird bright green squares showing up in my terrain but only at certain camera angles so that they blink on and off as I move the camera or as the train goes around a bend etc. :(
I Have a Radeon X1950 and using Vista 64 and this is in TS2009

Will add a screenshot as soon as I figure out how

EDIT: figured out the screenshot thing.. hope this works

Since noone else has replied I shall give it a go with my limited knowlege.

Do you have the latest video drivers installed?
Is this green splotchy area only on one map?
Have you tried setting your performance options higher or lower?
Have you tried switching from OpenGL to DirectX or the other way around?

I hope I have given you some stuff to try and with luck perhaps clear up your issue.

Its probably your graphics card, I should know half my routes in Trainz don't work my card sucks.

Yep, got the latest graphics drivers and it does the same thing on all routes.
Other than these weird glitches, the route works perfectly fine with way better frame rates that I ever got with '06.
Will try Direct X

EDIT:
Well, DirectX seems to have done the trick so far and interestingly, using DirectX seems to have improved the frame rates even further, i'm now averaging between 70 and 95 fps on the Banks Heath route, was more like 60 under OpenGL. :D

Good, I'm glad the solution was an inexpensive one :)
