Here are some more from trs 09,can't figure out how to get them in trainzdev so they are here. Some have been lightened as I beleive 09 makes them darker compared to 04 or 06.
when I previewed these, some looked blurry, don't know why???

Here are a few that from a quick seesion I did. I found the blending of texures much better and the 5 m grid is awesome. By controling the amount of pressure on the mouse button you can really apply finese when texturing and blending from one to the other. Comment are welcome. I'm also surprised there are not more comments. The screenshots themselves are fantastic. Your skill with Surveyor has always caught my eye. And, with this new 5m grid, I can see that your work is even more outstanding. Good work!

Nice shots Greywolf. The texture blending is encouraging.
I notice you are using the embankment track. Using tracks with embankments
have been essential for areas of my route.
I havn't been satisfied with the texture of the track embankment, and even reskinning has been unsucessfull due to the distorted look of the tiles.
I wonder if there has been any advancement in that area with TRS 09?

The embankment track I used is not the greatest and I am hoping Marvin Martian who posted previous to you will adjust the embankment track he is making so it will work in 09.There are some out there but not what I would like to see.
It would be nice if VMD,who makes some very nice track would jump in and make it so it was adjustable in height and allow the embankment to flow with the contour of the ground. Maybe some else will also jump into the fray and make some. There are some very good content creators out there who make track. We need some good stuff guys and gals.

Greywolf, I agree about giving my vote to VMD for creating embankment tracks.
I spent a lot of time last spring reskinning VMD tracks (with Steffans' approval) doing sets of different ballast, rail, ties, and tie plate textures.
He does excellent work.

I made about 150 track variations and transitions but got frutrated during the upload process.
I'd be thrilled if we had an embankment track with VMD quality.

What track? All I can see is 3 screenies of ground, no tracks in sight.
And this is the first time I have seen three pics side-by-side...

Perhaps this is because a: they are all too dark and the ground textures can not be seen, and b: because the positioning is screwed up, the top images are way off the page.
I would have like to have seen them.
Cheers
