This makes me sad :'( .
But you can't be everybody's darling.
Some of this TRS 2007 built in content is indispensable for my work. Maybe you can replace it with other items.
No pain, no gain! ;)

Hello Les,
the roll-block wagons are available on DLS. There are four-axle and six-axled versions. Don't forget to load the coupling rods and the freight cars as product.

@DaSnakke: Indeed. You were very right about that little feature.
@gp792: The steam locomotive on the right is a little younger post-war construction than Pu29. It's Pt47-20 express steam locomotive, designed in 1947 and in 80% based on pre-war construction Pt31. A quite fast and reliable design able to reach the speed of 110km/h with a 450t heavy express. Found in regular service in Poland till 1988. Now preserved (with Pt47-112 and Pt47-65 still operational in Wolsztyn depot, although Pt47-112 was withdrawed in early 2008 and awaits a major overhaul):

There are always some outstanding shotz in this thread. Always.
What intrigues me though - are these specially designed dioramas (mini-scenes) only intended for taking screen shots, or are they part of a fully functioning route?
If the latter, are they "playable" with reasonable frame rates?
Anyway, I appreciate the effort taken and always look forward to seeing what is new.
Oh - and a second question - what package is used to get the crispness and resolution in the screen shots? I've never been able to achieve anything like it.

@Baureihe41: fabulous atmosphere of a quite long express of the 70s/80s.
@Jurgen: yes, two times, my mistake.
My 162km long project is coming soon, it's 92% complete now. Together with it dedicated rolling stock and locomotives are coming as well.
Project Sudety / Autumn '1976 - Line #274, around km 123, ET21-350 & ST43-310 team up as power on this empty freight train heading towards Jelenia Góra junction, mid October '76.

When building anything European you are always faced with the decision whether to simulate or emulate. Since we European folks have been around for quite along time we have cluttered the landscape with all sorts of stuff and subsequently any attempt to truly remake a piece of Europe will tax your equipment polywise. The amount of polys (and worse: splines) connected to the electrified rail lines alone take out a huge chunk of your performance window, so trying to build a convincing landscape will leve little leeway to your rolling stock. If your equipment is not contemporary you will have problems, but you can fix most of them by tuning your game and still not loose too much. Anyway in Trainz this has been a tradeoff since CE and I don't really think thing ever will change.
Anyway I can only recommend Ruhrscheid Ost if you want to see both highly detailed landscape and smooth running. It will take some searching to get all the stuff needed, but it is definitely worth it.
Now for crisp imaging all you need is too fine tune your graphic card's anti aliasing and anistrophic filtering settings. At least that is how I do it. But as to which package renders the best result I think there are as many combinations as there computer builds.
I use an Acer laptop with a built in NVidia 8600 XS mobility card and it can go as high as 8 on anti aliasing and 4 on anisotrophic filtering without a noticable impact on performance.
I hope that helped a little.

@Leen, the coach visible on the right at your last screen looks preety much like this old baggage van:
http://www.railfaneurope.net/pix/nl/car/baggage/wagon_holenderski_2006_03_20_02.jpg
It's a former NS baggage van, used by PKP after 1945, then abandoned and left out on the weather, in 2004 some railfans tried to preserve it using a local museum, but eventually it got scrapped in 2006 to gain extra funds for other preserved stock (sadly). Possibly the same type as your NS original?
The screens:

Hi OlegKhim --
If I could ask for a little help please.
I went to the Russian site and downloaded the 2TE locomotives. They are superb and the cabs absolutely wonderful. The radio effects are excellent. And the fact that the control panel lights work.
However, no matter how hard I try I just can't get the locomotives to move. Obviously I need to press some buttons or pull levers to start the engines.
Could you tell me how to get the locomotives underway?
Thanks.

Well, that first screen grab by OlegKhim makes me feel a complete and utter idiot !~!
Damn - I didn't realise I had to gas the locomotive up at the local service station. Good thing they accepted my AmEx card - a couple of thousand litres of diesel is now quite expensive.

Unfortunately those days become more frequent as I get older.

Forgot to say - the locomotives are superb (actually I think I've already said that) and when I installed them in TRS2009 there were no missing dependencies (a pleasant surprise).
Highly recommended.

@Tinotos, I recognize the 'Series 20000' coaches on your screens, in their original FS grey livery. Interesting thing is that after WW2 those coaches found themselves in random european countries like France or Poland. I found a similiar coach in a seaside city of Hel (Northern Poland) serving as a summer holliday house:
http://www.wgk.cal.pl/details.php?image_id=4757
And once made a model of this coach:
http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/2950/16379170.jpg (http://img24.imageshack.us/i/16379170.jpg/)[/URL]

After 1945 the coaches that found themselves in PKP use were equipped with additional taillights and other polish details, they were retired around the 2nd part of the 1970s. The one I found in Hel is the only one I know of still existing.

Hi Alex ...
The green E646 is a beatyfull work of our staff member Moreno.
Yes it is on Trainzitalia site and is not payware but is for ours GoldMembers ... but it is very easy to become a member for ever (GM for life)
read this post http://www.trainzitalia.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=7832&postcount=1
Tomorrow I upload other screens of new E646 and E645 by Morenos ;)

Hi Kilanziom I know well the coaches of your screen (I found randomly on the DLS) and are very beautiful. I read your description attached to the stock and is all perfectly correct.
Carriages FS1921 or series 20000, however were not the only coaches who have arrived from Italy in Poland or from Poland to Italy :Y:
Carriages 20000th circulated from 1920 until the end of the year '70 in green livery wagon (like those of your screen) in brown / Isabella and finally in slate gray

You sure do travel a long way to find your stuff. Do you know where Hel is in Nordic mythology? Only fitting to go to the realm of the dead to find decomissioned railcars. That is true dedication ;)
The shots are great though - as always - I wish I had the patience to build anything resembling a route.

@Tinotos & yojimbo: exacly. Passenger coaches and their history are most interesting to me. In Poland it is mighty hard to get this knowledge since the photos and archives are still usually held in private hands - no books, no publications, not many available photos from before 1990... Anyway as you say Tinotos, there was much more former Italian stock that worked in PL. I managed to get to some wrecks and survivors of italian origin recently. This one anchored at the moment in the city of Białystok would be most interesting:
http://www.wgk.cal.pl/details.php?image_id=6870
Although another one in Hel is looking preety much as an ex-FS unit too:
http://www.wgk.cal.pl/details.php?image_id=6711
Also there is some knowledge about the SNCF fleet of former FS coaches, like this C10myfi 11979:

I hope you don't mind, but I posted this over at train-sim (most of the readers over there are supporters of either MSTS or RailWorks), with the heading:

Over in the Trainz forums is a screen shot forum called "Screenshots of European Trains."
Most of the shotz are absolutely stunning, including this one in particular.
It's not mine, but I thought it well worth sharing with a wider audience:

what diesellocomotive is that and where can i finde it ?
It's a former ĆSD/ĆD T669.0 diesel unit, owned recently by polish private operator STK:
http://www.wgk.cal.pl/details.php?image_id=3699
STK owns 3 of those, S200-301, S200-302 and S200-303 with the fourth being delivered in the next couple of days.
The model is not available yet.

These locomotives are now available on the DLS, however, the enginesound is missing and can be downloaded by going to this website - http://www.download.trainzmaps.cal.pl/dzwieki.html

Good morning all,
I hope some of the older members will remember the superb layout of Vendel, called Dunasziget (Isle of Danube).
I use now the option of "replace assets" from TS2009. The result is illustrated hereunder. It will take a long time yet to finalize the "reloaded" version, but if it is done, i plan to release it again. By the time i am electrifiying the mainline, but it is unfinished yet, which results a lots of diesel traction..

@Spikerod, they were sent a long time ago and are stuck in the 'unprocessed' ailse of the DLS, there is some kind of breakdown at the auto-upload system (it takes place for over a month now) and some assets are being stuck - in my case around 15-20 models... including the 'Bipa' and 'DBx' sets, so the only place to get the rerelease is the homepage of EET at the moment - www.trainz.pl
@Sura, I am sure you would find usefull the re-released version of these M62's, which was published a while ago. Due to a batch of changes in my stock, some models were re-released quite a few times, including these 2 diesels. Grab the newest version here:
http://wyslijto.pl/plik/wszl44dcxl
with additional things here:
http://www.trainz.org/ptt/_download_tabor/tabor_bogeysound/bogeysound_m62_01.cdp
http://www.trainz.org/ptt/_download_tabor/tabor_enginesound/enginesound_m62_01.cdp
http://www.trainz.org/ptt/_download_tabor/tabor_enginesound/enginesound_m62_02.cdp
There is a mess to control such a large number of add-ons, especially that recently I rebuilt many of them to be compatible with TS2009, e.g. the hungarian standard 'Y' coaches available at the same place.

Hello Sura,
I do not remember seeing the original layout, does Vendel still have it in TRS2004 or TRS2006 do you know please ????
And also, are there any other routes that are not on the HO Trainz website built in TRS2004/06 that are still available from somewhere else, I would like to see more routes from Hungary......:)

Good evening all,
@Kilanziom: Thx for the link, i downloaded the actual versions of the M62 inclusive add-ons. If being far so long as me, it is not easy to keep the speed of change, for sure :)
@Ex-Railwayman: this layout was much more promoted on the earlier Auran-Fprum which had to be closed. However, there is a promising new hungarian layout coming to the market before Xmas: the ZBF-team releases its superb layout: Miskolc-Sátoraljaújhely. This layout will contain more than 90 km realistic railway with the real schedule, and tasks. Great add-ons to this layout will be the famous 424 steamer and the Schedule Manager, which will be - for sure - revolutionary in the Trainz-world.
Just to make clear: i am not related to that layout in any form, this above is only my oppinion as tester. Further details: http: slash slash zbf-team dot info slash home

My guess is that it is one of the many Patricia/Beetsme reskins of my Re 460. I have lost count of how many reskins which are available since its release, so my advice is to visit Patricia's website, provided she has finished her site maintenance work.

Thank you Sir, I found it eventually on Patricia's website, however, my download quota has been exceeded for today, so, I have to wait until tomorrow now to download it......:'(:hehe:
