Hi, I am having trouble getting my buses that I have downloaded from the download station to work on the road. Could anyone tell me how I can get them to work on the road.

Hi
I think you can add these vehicles to your route by adding the kuid #'s to the config file of the route.
There was a thread on the forum explaining how to do it so maybe you can search for that thread to get the instructions.
That is way over my old head to give you the answer;)
Maybe someone here could help you out.
Good luck.

In TRS2006 you can add up to 16 cars in your route by adding car# tags to the route config.txt file. Tags must be sequential (don't skip numbers) and of the form:
car0 kuid:#:#
..
..
..
car15 kuid:#:#

Don't know if this works in TRS2004 tho.

I am interested in this also, can you tell me where the config.txt file is?

Every kuid folder has a config.txt file. Find the kuid folder for your route and add the cars.

As a slight aside Bob, your not resricted to 16 vehicles, on one layout I have 54. Just keep adding car52, 53, 54 kuid **** etc etc

^ Yes, I have several "Regions" that have 20-30 cars. You may get an error message about the config file or something, but it WILL work!
