3830- My "Valero" refinery is made up of two built in Trainz refineries, two third party refineries and a whole mess of Kenichiro's new industrial components. Do a search for Kenichiro and you should find them on the DLS.

Hi Tyler, nice to hear from you. :)

The Indiana Western is now complete and has gone to the DLS. It contains about 32 miles of double tracked mainline, a 4 or 5 mile power plant loop, and the Olde & Weerey division, about 12 miles in length. The route is designed to be easily merged with my Watseka & Kankakee route (you listening, Ed?) for about 100 miles of midwest railroading. I have also uploaded an SD40-2 and a GP38 in fictional IWR colors. Here's some more screenies.

The City of New Orleans near the western end of the route.

That looks like a layout I will have to look into installing, make that two with the merge mentioned.
Are both layouts suitable for TRS2006?

The IWR is a TRS2006 route. Whether or not it shows any faults will depend on what assets you have installed and whether or not you have "fixed" them or not. The W&W is an old TRS2004 route but I don't see why it wouldn't work in 06. I have it installed in 06.

You should merge the southern edge of the southwestern most baseboard of the IWR with the northern edge of the most eastern baseboard of the W&W, and the track and grades should align.

I ought to mention one more time that my routes are for stout hearted computers.

I found ways of running them on lower comps, even Ironbound Industrial, which I considered the max I could handle and was my top line benchmark. Just the 06 stuff I can't run now since I don't know what I'd be replacing. Tried looking for a copy here in Staten Island but all the game stores are mainly focused on XBox and Playstation.:(

Hi !

Thanks for presenting your route to the community :)

I only have one question. What is kuid2:30671:23391:1 and where can we find it ?

gfisher
May 24th, 2007, 03:43 PM
It is the LARS Interchange LT track which allows you to drop off consists to be picked up and generates new consists from the "other" railroad.
You can get it at TrainzProRoutes here: http://www.trainzproroutes.org/forum/

Look for the goodies forum page. You need to register, but the download is free.

The other 30671 items are the ProtoLARS industry tracks also available above.

George, you made another great route, you pay attention to details, you are one of the best for using textures, and you should spend alot of time making them. I really like your work and appreciate your talent.

If I had a suggestion for you, I would say Your work is great, but to complete the package you should add camera view all along the route. Without camera, it's like if you receive a Rolls Royce...with an ''install yourself radio''. I dont say that cause I'm too lazy to add them myself, I did it on all your route. It's just like if you do not put the cherry on the sundae. I'm sure you would do alot better then us to add these camera, cause you know exactly where you paid att. to the route and what should be seen by the viewer. Anyway as you understand, It is only a sugg. that I think, should complete the package of all your great stuff.

You make a good point and I will try to keep that in mind. I almost never use them myself, so I tend to forget about them. I should have at least remembered to place a couple at the roundhouse as they are useful for operations.

All route merging aside George, I have begun to download this route. I say begun because the first attempt put me over the allotted bandwidth for the day! Maybe the second attempt will finish it off! I'm sure in the end it will be worth it to have another beautiful GF route on my PC, and maybe someday I'll have a PC that can
even run it!

The first bunch are trees by ramsay72, and I believe you can get them here: http://www.freewebs.com/trainz200xb/Treepack.rar

The second bunch are the FMA grasses by vendel. I am sorry but I don't recall the link offhand. Someone else in here will probably know.

Was woundering if anyone was able to fix one assit in this route it's called Sub Station it was made by gbhunter. It says that it's missing the animation file and no matter what I do I can't get it to work right and its giving the route the black screen at start up.

Sub Station by gbhunter does not indicate any errors in CMP on my computer. You may have a corrupt file or a missing dependency. You could try deleting it and redownloading a new copy.

Well I`m missing a whole lot more then just those 3 which are on the DLS.

Namely kuid 147131:251062 147131:261102 147131:261104.

Or are they trees or something like that so I can delete them as missing assets without trouble?

I can't remember where I found all of them and it was just a couple of days ago.
Try searching for them this way. "147131:251062". Using the quotes helps narrow it down. You'll come up with quite a few hits for all 3.
251062 is a tree and the other two are some kind of industry.
