Hi;
Last night, I had a dream, in which I was working in Surveyor.
My route had some standing water in a low lying area. It was actively raining, and I was getting wet sitting at the computer!
I got to thinking that maybe the water on the ground might start to rise because it was raining.
As I awoke, I thought of whether or not this would be feasible for TS2009. I think it would require a huge amount of CPU and GPU, but I am fairly certain that there are some games where weather effects change ground textures and objects.

You could rig up a garden sprinkler on your chair. Shouldn't be that hard to do, though you'd probably have to manually trigger it.

Are there any games where the ground and object textures change with weather, such as snow falling, and appearing to accumulate on the ground and objects?
Would be very CPU intensive, and probably require lots of different images for the same object (one without snow, one with, one wet, one dry, etc).
I guess one of the great things about games like TRS is that some of it is left up to our imagination.
