Just posted a smaller version of these pics elsewhere. One of you guys told me how to do angled crossings and thanks for that. If anyone else would like to have a go and you haven't seen these pics, well here you are. Yard gate 68236:23279:1, Occupational_xing_gate 46219:28099 and the red circle 101839:27151 was used.

Well. It's been a few days since I posted something. And a few days of work and difficult research to find images and informaiton concerning my project of the last few days: Sheffield, Park Goods station. Yeh, yeh, Sheffield again, but as S R Batty, a renowned and prollific rialway books author, said: "I make no apologies for having a further look at the once-great railways which crossed within the city of Steel! Developments eventually produced a railway crossroads which contained enough variety and activity to stand comparison with any similar location in the land."

So here we are, on the edge of the city of steel's centre where the GCR crosses over the MML. Two goods yards, City and Park, feed the GCR with goods trafic and are situated to the Northeast of the centre 10m above gorund level.

Little Tom Diesel caught Stanton Juction at its busiest moment ! A Centro liveried Class 170 heads toward Stanton Juction (the station the otherside of the tunnel) A new prototype tram (used in Germany, slightly visible by livery) heads toward ???????? (un-named town as of now) and 60039 lets the tram whizz past !

Extra note about tracks - rail is angled inwards. I can't remember the exact engle, but I think it's around 10-15 degrees.

Birdbrain - where did you get the electronic sign? I'm on the hunt for one (preferably with a customizable destination).

@ tads - replaced it with an Nvidia 7600GT, nothing too high-end but at £80 for a mid-range card you can't really go wrong, next up is a new motherboard and processor (dual-core of course)

A few days ago I could only ever have dreamed of placing more than one Voyager on my Sarnley Junction layout :D

Nice looking rolling stock Dave,I see that's one of Obi's reskinned and it does look well. You probably are aware though the Mk3s have buffers,I really like the look of the bogey though,you wound't have any Mk2s around aswell,I remember you had one planned a while back!:D
