For people with dial-up, they have to wait for ages for images to appear that are already there. Do some people not understand that? :o

http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o22/the_way_back/TRS%20Screenshots/LRC117.jpg
With the East Chingford line in the final stages of electrification, the days of the class 117 twin sets are numbered. Here, we see one such set arriving at London Road (Clapton) on a dull August day in 1988.
Incidentally, I'm told that 47370's been sold for scrap - so it won't be long before that scene at Ipswich will become reality ;) And the 57s are finishing with Freightliner soon anyway, Harcourt ;)

A London bound peak hour service (formed of a 3 car class 117 and a 3 car 101) is photographed from the cab of an East Chingford bound pair of class 117s, as it slows for it's call at a stormy London Road (Clapton)

One of the things I was doing while I was banned, and please don't talk about the 142!
Anyway, the Class 141s maybe my last object I ever create for trainz and make it publically releasable. I have to release it as I have no other option from the person who gave me the info, otherwise, I would of refused to release that too.
As some know, the last 2 months for me have been very rough, I've had a lot of home life trouble where an eviction notic was hanging over my fathers, my sister and my own head, coupled with finanical hardship and when I got banned, I really got a bit physical with my body and my keyboard and I have now considered giving up Trainz for good as all the other stuff to go along with it, (Collapse of UKDTG, multiple ownership issues, etc) have left me in a position to ask "is this the future?" 7 years in a rapidly changing community, but is it positive change?
I've tried to fit into the community as much as possible, but I feel I failed in a lot of areas and to go with the flow, I would blame everything on me and if I left, would anyone care? Would anyone notice the lack of high standard content that I do make pubically available to download?
I've been furious about a lot of things and I am still not happy about some, so, therefore, I have considered giving up trainz for good, which will also affect my Beta status.
Questions questions, I am trying hard not to contraviene the CoC, but to be honest, I spent a day at Ropley, trying to get a PTS, so I can work trackside, a loco with a broken genny and now, batteries that are starting to show their age (we reckon that they won't even turn the engine over!) and a Van at Alton that has already been broken into and we are trying to remove our parts before the local yobs get at them!

But you've forgotten that in the UK they drive on the left - and that goes for trains too!

Hello nikos1, for an Inter-City livery for a class 37 look on the DLS for KUID 59037:1377 by MarkHodgkinson, this is the one I've been using for the last few years, there are also 3 other Class 37's marked up as IC Mainline by tmz06003, KUID 283805, which I'm sure are excellent in reskin quality.

Ok, how?
The problem is that in the heirarchial structure, the major ones I am leaving, is beause of one on the same level as me, 2 very high up and 2 below them, but are regarded quite highly on another forum.
I am not implying or saying who they are and it would not be anyone here or on UK trainz, but with what they can potentually do, they certaintly can make my life a huge misery. Thats why I am highly considering on leaving. Yes, I know there are several decent people. Gangsta_Boi, you may want to talk to me off list.

Unfortunately I've yet to find a 3rd rail track that I can use to give me an authentic looking junction.
Therefore, if you are using Electrostars and CIG's I'm afraid you'll have to imagine the 3rd rail.
If however someone can show me an authentic looking junction using 3rd rail track, I will update it.

They certainly are effective, but as you say it is a lot of hard work! I don't think I would have the patience or the time to do this especially with the amount of points around Brighton station!
One small point I notice that you say the difference between Merseyrail and Southern region is the side on which the 3rd rail is. I live in the Southern region and the 3rd rail changes sides regularly.

My next route?
Possibly the Island Line on the Isle of Wight from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin ?
Any thoughts?
I have a partially complete Island Line route that been on my PC for many months and untouched in the last 3. I was debating about handing it on to someone else to continue as I keep getting sidetracked by GMax projects.
Contact me on MSN, my addy is in my profile. I may have a proposition that'll interest you!

*CLASS 141 PRE-RELEASE*
http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~burgess/files/141/141version299.cdp
Just for everyone to enjoy, the Class 141 is now available for prerelease, its version 2.99999999999999999999934 (got that? ;) )
Anyway, 2 months, of solid hard work has gone into it, and it still has a few features missing.
Sadly, its been developed with TRS2006, so is recommended for that version, but, I will be back dating it pretty soon. (I.e. when I finished).
I've done the WYPTE livery, the mint and cream livery (Both working), unrefurbed and refurbed (both working) with West Yorkshire destinations (also working, my thanks has to go to Louise_T, she has actually saved me a huge ammount of work, even if they wouldn't be what I usually produce), but beware, the BR Blue and Grey texture doesn't yet, I've tried to nail it and didn't get anywhere and there is no Secro texture/body yet and some bits will be naturally missing, this will be available from V3.1, as much as scripting, and the rest.
Things to beware
no secro (See above)
missing bits (see above)
BR Blue/Grey doesn't work (see above)
2 different interiors (don't be alarmed! Ones temp)
limited scripting (temp)
No LOD (Temp)
NSE Moquette (Temp - Will be changed PDQ!)
DON'T BLAST THE HORN WITH YOUR SPEAKERS RIGHT UP! (You'll soon hear why!)Otherwise, enjoy! :)
Feedback useful but non-essential! (Yes, there are dependancies from other authors, but not many thankfully, most of it is from me! If there is any of my own which are missing, just leave a message.

WEN- look at the config.txt for asset 30051:1056, texture ref no. 44 reads bluegery.texture rather than bluegrey.texture. Works fine with this alteration (I've posted this on UKTrainz Forum also).
I've added the texture ref. for tha Arriva skin also- a very interesting livery!!

Maxing out the laptop on AC. Despite its age (Somewhat 3 years old now), with 2GB ram, a 1.6ghz Intel processor and an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 (128mb VRam), it still produced 10fps at this point!
For the record, theres about 14 Class 141s, a 150 (tucked away in the back left road), a Class 142 (not textured) and RB002 (not textured).

Oh, if you are trying to immatate ropley, its a 1 in 280 or out of alton, possilby a 1 in 200, I should know, I've had to do some track walks between there and the Meon Valley Siding, although there are no signs to confirm this.

hi WEN, i'm trying to base the route on the mid hants but there are differences. Such as what would be ropley is called ropestead :hehe:. For the gradients etc, now i should know all of them like the back of my hand as being on the footplate crews there! Its 1 in 60 out of alton, then levels off at butts then back to 1 in 60 almost all the way to medstead and 4marks.
The headcode how ever is southhampton or eastleigh to alton, lets say can pac has come from southampton :hehe:.
Now here's a pic of can pac at 'ropestead' waiting for the dwn train to pass. This time she's come from eastleigh :p.

Do you know them all? I'd be interested, I know a 1 in 80 decending (spelling?) graident leaving Ropley that lasts for about a mile, before Alresford, a 1 in 60 either side of the bridge at Medstead, but thats it.
I also know what the "Meon Valley Siding" (I have to tell the signaller at Ropley when the group will be there, to empty out the blue vandalised and rusty GUV now) is, Ropley shed and Ropley Mannor but thats it for locations.
Whenever I am after the PIC, remind me to try the mannor first! ;)
I suppose I got more to learn in my time being part of Rogers group. (I don't even know the name of the siding 45132 is parked in!)

Yep thats right, 1 in 80 to alsford until round about the outer home were i think it levels off to 1 in 250 all the way in to the platforms. This is when u notice your nice 3 1/4 full of a gauge class has gone dwn to only 1/4 full!
I'm guessing 45132 is one of the many diesials 'parked up' at ropley in the headshunt, or is it a sercet black 5 which no one knows about :P!
The R.A.T wasen't opperating that night :hehe:, anyway the belle is better in my opinion. 1 pullman coach and mrk 1's painted in pullman livery looks very nice behind any loco! From the footplate crew point of view its better aswell, as u get dinner on the footplate with plate, knife and fork!!! In fact i've got a belle turn on the 15th of september and i'm lookin forward to it!

As far as I know, its YUGO tank (damm thing!) > 27007 > 828 > Class12(?) > 45132 > Swanage > Parcels van > Unknown

I call it the Yugo tank, as it also came from Yugoslavia (spelling), oh and I hate the plates that stick out and the position it is in, right under the damm bridge. Has anyone got a spare "limited clearence" sign available?
If you have ever seen me, 6ft 2in tall, carries a huge backpack, with one lappy in it (with Trainz, so if you are after something, atleast you can get your USB stick out and download everything! ;), seems to love my cans of coke, red hair and often in an (little faded) orange jacket, when there is a hint of train movements, you'll see what I mean by the yugo tank, taking my sholder or even head off at some point!
I wonder if you can polish the chimley to match my hair colour?

I won't be there until next saturday. Roger was talking about a mid week "excusion", but that maybe up at err.... Alton. Do say Hi, even if I am a bit shy.
Oh and yes, thats our container, it gets even more hillarious as the weeks go by and there is more ash added to the pile. It makes the container... difficult to open.

Guarding a quadruple Class 141 service on an unfinsihed layout, note where the unfinished bits are! :)
In the first shot, theres no less than about 23 141s (18 in a depot, 4 in that train, 1 in service, but can't go anywhere, hidden behind the train I was "guarding"), 1 Class 150 in DMS/DMS formation, a 142 in DMS/DMS formation and lastly, a 377 in DMC/PTS/DMC formation and the computer gave me 2fps, the trains arent the killer, probably the track is.
