Thank you Harcourt for the encouragement! As you suggested here are a few shots of my WIP. There is still a heck of a long way to go! The project is based around the merry-go-round workings of Knottingley depot sometime in the 1980s. Most of the railway side is finished (ho ho ho!) and works very well using AI (something I seem to have cracked quite well) but the scenery is appalling. I must try a lot harder in this respect but in mitigation my current computer is well out of date and struggles a bit with Trainz, so for the time being the scenery will just have to do.

The route is very much WIP and still has the carpety look of terrain in the same direction.

I'll be adjusting the section of the route when I have time to make it a little more realistic. Maybe I'll even release it, though it has a lot of Train Driver assets, so I would have to change a lot. The advantage of this is Railwaves were gentle on the polys, meaning my little system can cope!

This is the village that the railway serves. It might eventually be bigger, but I quite like it. There is a little more out of shot, though really it is still too small to warrant the railway's continued existence (especially with MNs). Hi All! OK humour me and tell me where you think this is, but no prizes for guessing correctly BTW. A certain person is probably going to be over the moon when he sees these shots. I hope so as it took 150 shots from the planning portal mapping for this and the rest of the area and a full day to do this lot, which extends some way out. There is some double track to replace with single. It was just used for a template.

Ignore the jumble piled up by the church, it's just a heap to select stuff from.

Taf's platforms, which I favour, are too wide to take to the full extent; so please don't tell me they are a little short. They should almost come to a point in places.

@Scott,dont know how your getting such low fps?is it not the grass thats dragging the frame rate down?I cant see anything else that could?there is no texture so your card has basically nothing to do

On a much more interesting note, I've been working on a few little things on the 47. There is a new headcode box, new cutouts for the tail lights, and the railings have been sized up and are rounder. The poly count is still a very respectable 3900

If you were to think of the most neglected UK loco for Trainz,it would be the Class 42! They rarely feature in any of our screens,however when you double head a long train,they do look really smart,not to mention using the custom sounds on the DLS.:D
