Time to show off, against my own rules, but hey, maybe I should lift the ban for once.
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g217/wessexelectricnut/Trainz/Screen_356.jpg
Left is the refurb version of the railbus to the right. Only one was made and is in the state of the one to the left. I just wanted to refurbish it a bit. A drastic and impossible refurbishment as the interior has got partitions by the doors, new seats and luggage racks, as well as routing the exhaust by the body. It hasn't escaped the sprinter mods either! (purely fictional refurbishment, but something I'd love to carry out on RB002.)
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g217/wessexelectricnut/Trainz/Screen_359.jpg
To wind 159james up and a few others that want a 150 and a 142 :)
There are a few errors to sort out sadly, one being the bogies, the others the door and the final one, is the specular highlight colour, which I cannot trace what is causing the offset colour on the underframe or the body. When will the pacer be releasd? Oh and please tell me if it will be in FNW star livery? will it?

Yes it is my own version of the BVE West Midlands route, originally intended to be a personal project of my own for driver mode only (no scenic wonder, only bits seen from the cab are detailed!)
Currently finished stage 1 from Maybank to Riverside (all built in TRS04), if there is enough interest then I'd be tempted to upload it to the DLS. :)

Hey Wessex! How Come You Keep Showing That Railbus And You Won't Release The Fictional Train?
What fictional train?
The railbus has a slight door issue, which can be clearly seen in a couple of screenshots, miss-alignment and the fact that there is too many doors per doorway.
It also has no cab view either, thats going to take an extra few weeks to make (give me time, 3D meshes at this complexiblity, take soo long to create. I have one project on my laptop that was started in September and still I have not reached the stage where I can show it!)
You can't rush these things, good models take time, a very long time, crap models can be built in a day, with no experience. Don't believe me? Make a box, make it look roughly like a carriage and map it, then build the full thing, with an interior, with all the textures made from scratch, animated from scratch, the Cfg written from scratch and you know what it is like in my position.
For the record, I work as an individual, a lot of work for one person. :)
EDIT: We also have people on here, that want to possess everything, that is an impossibility, as there is so much I have made and never released or finished. Even worse, some items have never made it into Trainz at all.

Just a few pics of a new UK Narrow Gauge fictional layout I started this morning after getting bored with the Talyllyn (and re-laying the brick terrace at the front of the house!). I've called it the Littledale Railway, after a garden railway I saw in an issue of Garden Rail.
Anyway, on with the pictures!
It's halfway through the morning and Lilla has just run around the first passenger of the day after being coaled and watered:-
http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p383/uknarrowgauger/Screen_032.jpg
A view down the platform just after Lilla has backed onto the train. The small signal frame is visible beside the station building in a fenced-off area:-
http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p383/uknarrowgauger/Screen_033.jpg
A view into the station from past the level crossing as Lilla prepares to depart. The stations' last line of defence, the Up Home, has a nice bush growing up it:-
http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p383/uknarrowgauger/Screen_034.jpg
A view down the quietest main street in the country as Lilla crosses over it:-
http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p383/uknarrowgauger/Screen_035.jpg
Lilla crosses over the only major engineering structure on the line. The spire of the parish church is visible above the train:-
http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p383/uknarrowgauger/Screen_036.jpg
Enjoy!

Why would it be wise for him to dump the 141? The reason I ask is because its me that got all the info for that thing before you ask I photographed 141113 at Butterly. Also I asked him to build the 141 for me as it holds a lot of sentimental memories for me so there you go a breif story on how the 141 became into being :)

Unfortunately, the RAIB had a field day today, as 5Z52 came off the tracks at Laytown. The cause of the accident was believed to be a faulty set of points.
The locos involved were 31466 (leading) and 31421 (tailing)
Here, 31466 is happily disgracing itself, whilst part of it lies in the 4 foot.
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd107/hymek/derailment.jpg
A very unusual thing about this incident is that the last loco and coach remained on the track, and working! I managed to catch them heading the other way at 93mph! talk about a runaway train! Anyway, they were safely returned to the ground signal near the river bridge, the scene of the accident.

Press print Screen, then exit trainz. If you have something like Paint Shop Pro , go to Trainz folder on your hardrive and open the .tga files and save as a JPEG. If you don't then use something like Paint to paste the image and save the file as a JPEG. Then go to a image uploader (Imageshack, Photobucket) and upload the JPEG. Then post it on here.
Hope this Helps

There's an easier way than that: hit printscreen, then open up an image editing program such as MSPaint, or Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and press ctrl+v or 'paste'. The image should appear, and then you can save it.

Thank you, but I can see what it is, though I'm not sure what I'm supposed to think when I look at it. OK, it's a very basic layout with a long walk to the depot and a station with a bi-directional through line.

Not to cause an argument but it is a screenshot and it is showing a UK route and as I think you said when I got picked fault with for screenshoting locos not the actual routes the thread was meant to be a route thread but it was not made clear and you don't rearly mind if its of locos aslong as its UK baced. (I think it was you who said that, If not sorry)
Oh yer, then I started the UK locosthread as this is meant for routes and got picked on again! but anyway thats history now.

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin_poole/images/47cab5.jpg
However, the driving position is set a bit low and far back- with TRS cabs I prefer to be able to see the road ahead without having to look down each time I want to move a control. I could offer a more authentic eye position as one of the [ views.

Out on the main-line a pair of 37s are heading for the same overbridge as an HST hurtles past in the other direction.
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a303/escafeld01/Screen_005-1.jpg
At the overbridge the 08 and 37s catch up with a local service. The 37s have crossed over to take the line eastwards.

I've changed 'drives' and not all the content has been copied across, so there's some long grass missing. The overbridge is TafWeb and FMA, before anyone asks.

I'd also love it if you could clean the glass, as having to view everything in brown vision would really detract from the visual quality of trainz when using the cab otherwise.

Signalbox backwards in the first pic? Or is it the use of the default HST? :o

I would agree with Paul that the signalbox is wrong way round and also in your last shot, if the DMU and the 37's are going in the same direction, then the DMU is on the wrong track, or the 37's should be on the up goods rather than the up main.....
Great shotz anyway Dave....Could I run this route in TC3 perhaps ???

The platforms on the left are by tmz06003, and on the DLS. There is a whole platform system, allowing you to create just about any shaped platform, they are great! The platform on the far right is by Stonegate, and again on the DLS.
In fact, I could do with your help folks, I am a bit stuck for what to do with the spare areas around the trackside, like between the track and walls, I could put some grasses there, but you would need quite a few, and they are high poly. What do you reckon?

How about obtaining some low poly grasses or a few shrubs or some flowers, such as foxgloves, cornflowers, long headed poppy, etc, you don't have to smother the area, just a little eye candy as you pass by on the train and hopefully the FPS will be OK too.

I haven't seen this "Bonus Feature" in TRS, but in TC3 if you have rollingstock or locos on the route and you Alt-Tab out of trainz and then alt-tab back in ALL locos/rollingstock mysteriously develop Hover engines.
The only way to fix(until you alt-tab again) this is to save your work, quit trainz completely and restart Trainz.

That's not Pikka's 25, it's sparky's and the snowploughs are attached to the body.
Sparky released his beta 25s on the UKTrainz Forum a while back, it also features auto renumbering and working lights. The boiler water tanks attach and detach based on the number selected.
Unfortunately there are some obvious dimensional inaccuracies, Sparky said he would be updating the mesh to address these at some point.

Nice shots Liam but you need to give that Pendolino driver a warning for showing a daytime lighting configuration at night.

Thanks for your kind comments Isaac! I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well, have a virtual pint on me \_/! Yes, the original inspiration came from a route that Dave (Nexus) did some time ago, and a photo I found on the internet of some HST sidings, I believe near Laira depot. It was intended to be a Penzance End style station, however I ended up building two station exits, East and West, so it became more of a Plymouth station than Penzance!! Yes, I shall probably release it, and let you guys know here as and when. :)
Heres another 'real station inspired route'! Basically created for Nexus' stunning Class 185, loosely based around Huddersfield.

Louise, no I don't however I visited the station last year, when travelling from Leeds on a 185 for the first time. I wasn't too impressed to be honest, with the 185 that is, however the station at Huddersfield has some serious character.

Hello, stunning screenshots by you all,... problem, I d/l nexus class 185 but the bogey 2:116035:10050:1 is listed as a missing item and will not show in railyard, from the above shots I see that Delia is showing the class 185 superbly and I am wondering what bogey is listed in your config. file. I have checked all the bogeys listed for 116035 (peterdhicks) but the one required for the class 185 is not listed .....any help would be appreciated. regards
