Nexus, where is that train, the pink and blue FCC livery from?
It hasn't been released yet as It needs it's scripted lights sorting out and a cab attachment point adding :)
@Pauldurose ,
I've amassed quite a fair bit of gmax built custom content since learning how to use Gmax and with time I'll be releasing most of it , but as I'm still learning new techniques to build stuff with less poly's a lot of the older content will have to be rebuilt before it's released :)

Thanks Greg, I have a thing for triangular stations!:hehe: I've heard a lot about a place called Ambergate I think, never seen it though, you are probably aware of it.:) The 76 is making me want to do a mini Woodhead line on my layout.:)
For the moment here's some western.

Greg - Excellent shots and work on Sheffield, as always. Just one thing, I think you're missing a lot of daytime smog/fog. :D At least that's how I remember it. cough, cough!when did the clean air act come into place? 1950s? I read air quality improved almost overnight... Let's say these shots were taken once the smog had cleared off. It would be nice if I turned forg on or something so I can't see 100 yard in front o't loco. You wouldn't see much on the screen shots though would ya?
I've found a nice grey sky... that's me done with auran's default sky I guess!
Thanks Greg, I have a thing for triangular stations!:hehe: I've heard a lot about a place called Ambergate I think, never seen it though, you are probably aware of it.:) The 76 is making me want to do a mini Woodhead line on my layout.:)Aaah yes, it is Ambergate; on the former Manchester branch of the Midland Mainline over in Derbsyhire. Nice viaducts and valleys over there. further North of the now end of the line, Monsal Head makes for an awsome view.
The Woodhead... The scenes of moorland up there near Penistone, Dunsford are fantastic. It'll get done eventually ;) Good luck with a mini Woodhead.

Harcourt, if you like triangular stations look at Queensbury (GNR) which also had a narrow gauge railway through the middle, and Bishop Auckland(NER).If I remember rightly (I used to volunteer on Peak Rail) Ambergate had plartforms on 2 sides only whereas Queensbury and Bishop A had platforms on all 3 sides...

Shipley just north of Bradford is triangular, until the last 20 -30 years trains stopping on the Leeds to Skipton leg did not have a platform so they had to use one on one of the Bradford legs and then do a reverse movement. Steam locos quite often pass (usually on the Leeds-Skipton side.
I have found a few old pictures of a movement when a steam special reversed at Shipley! This is before the OHLE went up, and I suppose there would not be enough time between local service trains to do this today!

If I remember rightly (I used to volunteer on Peak Rail) Ambergate had plartforms on 2 sidesWrong! Ambergate as mentionned above twice had three sets of platforms on the three sides of the Ambergate triangle. The South Eastern side of the triangle is bypassed by the Midland Mainline.

Les Ross posed for photos with the loco at Liverpool and walked through the train chatting and thanking folks for travelling and we all managed to raise £700 for cancer research through a raffle. A great day out and definitely a loco to travel behind in the future :)

Hello Lewisner, well, when I said near the main entrance, I think it was a street or two away, sorry......I'm getting old and forgetful..:hehe: But I still remember it served a damn good pint of Mansfield, and I must be going back 30 years or so....And Coopers has been open since 1990, well, that's 18 years ago then, how time flies....Never had time for jollification in the Norseman buffet, too many photographic opportunities available, it kept you fit in those days, running up and down platforms and over the footbridge to capture something good on your camera, if only I was as fit now.......:hehe:

In 1966 we see a class 40 passing through Pevensey Junction heading south to Crewe.
http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd155/tlblade/fsscr915.jpg
In 2007 we see to Freightliner class 86 passing over the same junction.
http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd155/tlblade/fsscr945.jpg
In 1967 we see a rare sight of steam pulling a passenger train. Here we see Rebuilt Scot 46108 with a local train heading to Haworthorn. The scot was put on the train when the class 27 broke down.
http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd155/tlblade/fsscr921.jpg
And now the station is gone and the area is surrounded by new buildings. Here we see a class 92 heading north.
http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd155/tlblade/fsscr946.jpg
In 1967 we see another rare sight of a BR Blue Loco in the form of a Baby Deltic pulling a freight train from the harbor at Pevensey.
http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd155/tlblade/fsscr932.jpg
The only things running up from the harbor station are units such as this class 450 on the weekends only train from Pevensey to Haworthorn.

Well, If that was a rule this tread would be hardly 90 pages. Most are of projects or new content featured in uk routes. My routs are UK baced but as seen are not always completly made out of UK content. You have to flex the point of the thread or hardly anything would get through. Grass from abroard. 1. The final decider awile ago on this thread was that aslong as it is mainly UK it is ok- whick makes mine ok as the focus is the class 43

I am sorry for being a rear end, but I don't want anyone to go down the same road as I did and I hope I am helping to be rather constructive.
That was a rhetorical question so if you are going to respond don't just shut your big annoying mouth
Please don't air it out in the screenshot forum. If you truly disagree with someone, please air your thoughts by using the PM link under their username. Or, please use the "report this post" link, which looks like a warning sign. (The useful thing about that button, is that it alerts the mods, thus they can take the appropriate action.)
Sorry Captain, I had to quote, that comment could be open to misinterpretation by some who try bloody hard to bring everyone the best.
It would be rude otherwise don't you think?
From the jist of your post, to me it sounded like it was only those contributors that provide the best quality. It would be true for screenshots, BUT there are a lot of others who do not do so well for the screenshots, but make it up by showing screenshots of objects or meshes that are "Work In Progress". (Or at least in a state that you can see it in.)
Everyone who posts here, has a varying degree of experience levels and are essentially "artists" in their own right. Lets not distract the fact, we have kids, we have newbies and we have over 60s in the same thread, all contributing works of art.
Lets all just be thankful for each others work and screenshots. I know some are of minimal effort and for those that make trains, that is the main focus. So why don't we call an end to it?
(Besides, I've stopped contributing to this thread, after I felt comments got way too personal.)
EDIT: Yes, I know I am being the biggest critic out there, I've done similar actions and I am now asking everyone not to follow. The other thing, is it rhetorical or retorical?

EDIT: Yes, I know I am being the biggest critic out there, I've done similar actions and I am now asking everyone not to follow. The other thing, is it rhetorical or retorical? No worries WEN, you're constructive. that is very, very diplomatic. I think the idea isn't to have mint screenshots and by all means WIP shots are ok but as Escafeld posted and as the title suggest, the best of British should be posted. someone reproducing central London with a bit of grid on the sides could be excused. you can't participate for the sake of participating and expect praises for shots such as Lesto's humouristic one which clearly represent no area, demanded no effort and are entirely subjective.
All layout creators have their own proficiency and style and effort (that's true effort not jsut participation) ought to be rewarded with some kind words.
What's the best of British? Vast subject. Suffices to say that a platform with a sign, some track and a train do not quite fit the description ;)
One should also appreciate the blatant advertising of upcoming content and posting it here because this thread sees much traffic is opportunistic and quite inappropriate. That is why reskinners screenshots do not fit the description.
tardis626's new thread is a good idea, despite the title's blatant mispelling.
There's a time when opening a new thread for a specific subject avoids transforming an existing thread into a dumping ground of anything.
PS: It's rhetoric :)

And RJL the line is only between Nuneaton and Atherstone but if you could find some pictures of Coventry station and I will try and add it to the layout.

Any where I can get a list of the stuff that is coming coon?
I saw a shot of kings cross on the UK Trainz forum, is that in there?
Think if this list as the first sip of a pint, long awaited, but as soon as you have had that first sip, you can make it last the whole rugby match (as long as it isn't spilled when we win, but I think not).

Yes....we're putting that thing they call Microsoft Train Simulator to shame :hehe: Although you did miss one name off that list ;)
I fear we've lost some valuable members of the Trainz community recently though, including some who posted some excellent screenshots. Where has Tads and Jivebunny gone?

Just as I suspected......they've moved to the dark side :( I hope nobody else leaves the UK Trainz scene, as it's important that we keep it together and don't allow Rail Simulator to take over. After all, Trainz was here first and is far better anyway :hehe:
I was thinking about giving up Trainz (because it got a bit boring for a while) but decided to stick with it and am now reskinning and route building again :)
But enough waffle, here's a screenshot featuring a couple of new reskins.
