Scenery Error

When I transfered a Layout from TRS2004 to TRS2006 all the terrain has dissapeared,and the following message is on the scenery items

Error: The tag 'mesh' is not permitted within this container. (Container type 'scenery')

I think the mesh im that is n the files and can not be used is what makes the terrain?

Is there a way of getting these files to work?

Any help gladly accepted.
