Strobe effects?

A Request or a remod I am looking for some modern US police cars and fire/emergency vehicles with and without flashing lights.I have the British ones that look good. The us police vehicles i found have no flashing lights.How hard is it to modify them? their does not seem to be a lot of US content for construction and emergency vehicles.
Even a separate strobe effect object u can add to anything would be great,you could add them to anything different colors, blue,Red,yellow,green.

what i am asking is can someone make some simple lightbars or just a plane stick that can be moved on top of an object I have flashing effects,smoke,fire effects all i want is a rapid flashing effect i can move over an object would have so many uses.to be able to put the effect on a vehicle like the smoke and fire effects a little bar u can move anywhere if i knew how i would do it i know it would be used.

Search the DLS for "Corona". Besides the beer, it should pull up an assortment of objects of which you desire.

yes I have i guess my question then would how to you use a corona in an object?
