No smoke, no steam, no mist

I sent Rob4Rails a message in Content Creation Support asking for his help concerning some of his items BUT it's not them. For some reason Trainz 2006 will not show smoke, steam or mist. None of the steam locos produces smoke or steam and none of the factories show smoke. Had it a couple of days ago but it's gome now. Any ideas or suggestions? Sure hope I don't have to reinstall 2006. Thankz.

Check the particle effects slider, maybe you moved it to the extreme left.

That's one of the first things I checked. It's all the way to the right. I have no idea what happened but I sure do miss those effects.
