Hey all...

Is there a way to change the cab of a particular model. I've noticed the Cab that's part of the NSW M-set is rather old compared to the set it's attemptng to model and I was thinking of using the Acela cab instead.

How does one do this?

Thanks
Dave

Hello Dave, you mean you want to change the cab interior ?? Well, you need to go into the config. txt of your locomotive and exchange the kuid number for the interior setting....Some config.txts have this in twice actually, called interior, and then in the kuid table, you will see the same numbers again. As long as the old kuid number is deleted and your new number has been inserted correctly, you can commit/save and exit. If you are in Trainz Objectz using TRS2004 it will automatically prompt you to delete your dispatcher chump file and it'll rebuild it with your new settings.....

Hope that helps..

May I ask you what version of TRAINZ you're using?

TRS 06 is VERY simple. I mean VERY.

If you're using TRS 06 I can walk you through the three or four simple steps.
