Does anyone have a Kuid for a good looking diesel loco with passenger enabled carriage(s) ?

I have downloaded some class 101's but they have missing assets and won't show up in surveyor menu's.

Any help with this will be very much appreciated

Thanks in advance and seasons greetings:)

Kev Laws, do you mean DMU's only, or Locomotive Hauled Passenger coaches?
Only your post does not exactly make it clear what exactly you have in mind?

Diesel Multiple Unit

Looks like a bunch of carriages travelling along under their own power with no locomotive attached. But if you look closely at one end you'll see there is a diesel engine either inside the carriage or under the floor. These are mostly for commuter services.

A diesel locomotive hauling a bunch of unpowered carriages looks like the traditional "passenger train".

There are also EMU trains; Electric Multiple Unit. These, like the DMUs look like a bunch of carriages with no locomotive attached but are powered by electricity. If they are supplied by overhead electricity they will have pantographs or wire-frame devices on the roof for picking up the power. If they are powered by an electric 3rd rail they will have metal collector shoes attached to both sides of the bogie on the power carriage.

Here endeth the lesson.

Build a passenger consist in Surveyor and attach a loco. As you scroll thru the car list in Surveyor, click on one and if it is interactive there will be a green check mark in the lower left corner of the displayed thumbnail picture and the letters IND above that. Here are part of the names of those builtin passenger cars that can load/unload passenges and have animated doors:

BR MK1
CN Lightweight Coach
CPR Budd Coach
Mat53
RENFE 10000
RENFE 8000

"Desiro"
These are handy little two car articulated Deisel Multiple Units by Seimans found on branch lines all over Europe. There are some very nice ones on the DLS.

The problem is that its not the missing dependancies, its the fact that authors (yes, I was the stupid (insert offensiev word here) that created the Class 117/121) and forgot to add the KUID table. So CMP/DLS searches for the KUID table and gathers a list of required assets.
A missing KUID table means both ask, "Well, what the hell do you need then?".
(Then again, CMP is a little more sophisitcaed, as it understands this problem and generates a list for you.).

So, your only way is to find the assets one by one, by copying and pasting the KUIDs in CMP or the DLS search page (whichever is applicable for your version of Trainz.)
HTHs

Tip: try and find the KUID's in the config.txt file.

When i have got the class 101, 121 and 117's they have the kuid table and everything works. It shows in the railyard and the surveyer but there is one problem with it, is that it is not door functioning and it isn't passenger enabled

Davido made an Xplorer and Endeavour , they are quite high quality with animated passengers (doors + windows). Australian DMU.

Updated 101's, would be really good, with engine stop/start, lights, interiors, and passenger enabled opening doors. 117's and 121's could also do with a refurbishment.
I like these DMU's, and use them a lot on certain routes, they compliment the steam loco's and stock really well.
