Updating Asset Database

I have a problem! Trainz 2006

When I open CMP a popup says "Updating the Trainz Asset Database. please wait..."

Nothing happens ?

So I then have to close this popup and CMP with Windows Task Manager,
and then reopen CMP for a second time for it to work without trying to Update the Asset Database.
How can I stop this happening or get the Asset Database to Update ?

Try hitting the escape key. That will do the trick and close the "updating" window.

Open it leave it & wait could take up to an hour.

Use task manager to see if it's working as it sometimes appears to be dead when it's not.

If you don't want to update press the ESC key

just stick with the CTRL ALT DLTE way of restarting it, using ESC can cause CMP to have to rebuild its asset database.

or as suggested just let it go and see if it clears itself.
