DEM data for australia

hi,
for the last couple of weeks i've been mucking around with DEM,and i feel
confident i've got the knack on how it all works, thanks to some very useful tips from trainz forums.
but when comes to DEM data for australia, i seem to get lost in an abyss of imformation i'm trying to pinpoint. if any of my fellow austrailians can steer me in the right direction, i'll shout them a coldie.
i'll looking for data for cairns,mareeba,atherton,herberton and ravenshoe.
any help or tips will be most greatful

Patchy seek out jerker he might be able to help as the correct DEM for OZ is hard to get .................................................. .....

From memory, I do believe Jerker has done an Atherton tablelands DEM file. As Zec says, you can contact him via VicTrainz...
