not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have been working steadily on a route thats nearing completion. i found a section of track that had deformed since i had last backed it up. i have tried to straighten it no luck i tried to delete it and replace it no luck. in fact i cant adjust its height i cant move it it wont allow me to do anything. any ideas what caused this and is there anyway of correcting this problem. if it cant be resolved i can go back to the previous saved edition and redo the small amount of additions i had made.
Cheers

Hi Ghostryder,
I have heard of similar problems with pieces of track that can't be deleted or moved, so going back to your last backup might be the quickest way out of the problem.

I've also had this problem before. Usually the weird piece of track can be removed by deleting a fixed track section/grade crossing/interactive platform or industry it's connected to. It's very inconvenient, but I guess this is one of the things which make Trainz so fun: troubleshooting. :hehe:

Yeah i have been lucky so far and have not had to many issues with my upcoming route Ipswich. it was in the Diesel depot that i had the issue. and nothing i did would could or did move alter or delete the troublseome piece of track.

I often find that when I have trouble deleting splines it helps to zoom out to the highest possible aerial view.Failing that , would it help to delete assets.tdx?

i have tried every trick in the book but could not get it to go i even tried deleting the track from the map files but it failed as well. in the end i opted to go back to the previous saved map and rebuild the section that was playing up, i have started to rebuild the lost section and items. was quicker and easier.
Cheers
