Why do I loose saved routes?

I've moved this from another Thread

Something not right here.
I've made 3 layouts in surveyor now and Saved them. When I go back in the menu then return to surveyor. My named route is in the drop down list. When I exit Trainz 2006 then go back in. The route has vanished.
Q.1 Where do they get saved?
Q.2 Why are they not staying in the drop down menu.
Q.3 I don't seem to see how I get out of surveyor without using Esc. Could this be the problem.

Come on Guys... let me into the secret world of trainz.

What version and build of Trainz are you using?

If you're using Vista, then you have to right-click on the desktop icon and select "Run as Administrator". It should now allow you to sae and retain these routes as well as third-party content.:wave:

Check in the Auran\TRS2004\World\Custom\Maps folder.

Spot on 'Ferrous' Damn Vista... Vista is the work of the Devil.... I've done what you suggested and ran a couple of test tracks, logged out and came back. They stayed where I put them.
I'll buy you a pint of fine Ale next time you're passing through my town.
