Can I keep straight track straight?!!!

I always find that after I lay a piece of single track, if I try to curve the next bit, the previous bit curves along with it. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? The same happens when I try to make junctions. If I try to make a set of points on a piece of single track, the piece of track before the points won't stay put. It seems like something there is a simple solution for but I can't work it out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi juveboy640,

At the bottom of the track tab there is an icon for straightening track.
Hover your cursor over each icon and it will tell you what it is for, then click the straighten track icon and click on the piece of track you want to straighten. Warning, It works as a toggle so if you click on the track a second time it will revert to bendy.
