Hello community,

I seam to come across in surveyor just tonight that I hope can be fixed.

You see, I start a route right? And I lay some track then after saving...I exit out of Trainz and when I return minutes later its gone!? Its not even in CMP for TRS2006!!!

This is a huge problem for me. I wanted to create a nice yard just run around in and now its gone??

It stumps me to why Trainz is doing this. I havent created routes yet in my new computer and its really bugging me to where it has gone.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this major problem?
Thanks so much in advanced.

Cheers,

Adam,

First make sure you reinstall Trainz then install the SP1 without opening up the program.

Second, if you're running under VISTA, you need to set the permissions for Trainz to run as Administrator. Do the same for CMP.

If the programs run as Administrator, you should have no problems saving your newly created routes.

Good luck,

John

You gotta do it - it is definitely worth the time and hassle - in fact in the long run it substantially reduces the hassle. Just follow the instructions - they are in the TRS06 FAQs, Tips and Tweaks section...

Another poster asked how to setup Autosave and I told him, but he said he couldn"t find it in CMP.It seems that Autosave is a feature of SP1 so if you don"t have SP1 you can"t use Autosave, which would (literally) save you from this problem.

Thanks guys for the info but I just figured it out.
I just need to run it as Admin. Thats it. No SP1 required!
Thanks though.
