Hello
After playing with route after Route after route I decided That I'm going to get layouts from differnt countrys and just play on those

I already have my England one "Forever England AJS electrified" and my NG one "Northbay county"
Are there layouts from:
Austraila
The United States
Germany
That are fairly well detailed, take less then 45 minutes from end to end?

To clairify
Are there any routes that a fairly well detailed. Are Freeware. Take less then 45 minutes from end to end (or to make a full loop) in the countrys of: the united states, germany, and austrailia.
I would prefer if they supported industrys and passengers.

Well for an Australian one you could try my Marooma route? It takes about half an hour to go from start to end and back and is fairly detailed( although its just an older version ).
Of course there are alot of better ones out there...

I like the sound of it but TRS2006 says there is no route selected.

For the US I suggest "RiversideRailroadCo".

It's on the Download Station, all dependencies are on the DLS, it takes about 40 minutes end to end, it is scenic, well detailed and highly industry interactive. There are several sessions to go with it too.

Thanks philskene!
I had always been a big fan of your PortSwitching Company route. I never knew you made this route, should be great!

RPT ( Regional Passenger Transit 2005 ) is a US commuter/freight route that is about 45 minutes end to end (depending on stops). There are sessions for it as well.

For RiversideRailroadCo, you'll need KlausM's coronas. If only I knew where that link was... :o

Hi Jimmyp4
A couple of Australian based routes which are based on actual railways and can be merged into one layout forming what is known as Southlines Four (from memory) are:
WeddinNSW V1.1
WeddinNSW V2 for TRS2006
Junee 2006
Tumbarumba Branch 1
Wolgan Valley Railway
Boorowa
Bethungra
Monteagle

Another Australian based (fictional layout) is the Razorback Railway found here http://razorbackrailway.com/cms/

Cheers

Hi Ferrous --

"For RiversideRailroadCo, you'll need KlausM's coronas."

Just a minor correction - not so. I've given up on the semaphores because of their dependency on those KlausM coronas. On this route I've used searchlight signals. Everything that's needed is on the DLS.

I have tryed Austral Bay and the Montanta Rail Link, both too long. I was planinng to run Iportal with the routes but then the Iportal server went Kaplooy, so I just want route to have fun with

Hi Jimmy --

Depends which one you download.

The sequence goes:
Urban Industrial 1a to 4a
Urban IndustRail 5a to 8a
IndusRail 1a

Each is a little longer than the previous version.

The first, for example, is probably 10 minutes from one end to the other.

A map of the latest version is shown here:

Ok phil thanks!
I read some other threads and found out that it can be connected to Austral Bay! I think I will try that. Since it is at Height 0 I can connect it to many things.

Though not on your list may I suggest giving Canada 1930 a try it has supported industry’s and passengers
and about the right length and comes complete with printable map in the pack if you wish to get more involved
