Problem with Custom Layout

I recently had to re-format my hard drive and I've re-installed TRS2006.
I copied the entire TRS2006 folder & sub folders before re-installing and then copied them back to the new installation. Although I have no probles with the installed layouts, when I try to open a modified one it says 'ERROR - You have tried to load Surveyor or Driver but have no map selected - go back and select a map'

Can anyone help ?

Did you previously have Service Pack 1 installed? If so, did you make sure to install it again, following instructions to the T?

There are two files you need to delete assets.tdx is one but cant remember the other one. It has been memtioned in the forum, this allows trainz to rebuild the data base.
