Hi all, this is my first post, but I'm no stranger to the game, I downloaded the Service Pack, and now I cannot view the driver menu, when I start a session or a map, it puts me in the middle of no where and I have to select my train by using the map, is there anything I can do to fix this with out having to re-install the game? I've got so much added content I'd rather leave it where its at than move it or reinstall it. Thanks

Try hitting F5...:) If that doesn't do it, you'll have to re-install and FOLLOW the patch instructions EXACTLY word for word.

I reloaded the game and I still have this problem!

Don't download the service pack.

There's nothing wrong with SP1. We've all had problems installin it but once installed you'll find it improves the operation of CMP. Plus, it's required if you ever expect to download and install assets created with it by 3rd party developers. Try it again, but this time uninstall TRS2006 using disc 1. After it uninstalls TRS2006, open explorer and delete the ..\Auran\TRS2004 folder. Then install TRS2006 followed immediately with SP1 installation.

Sorry Bob, not all of us. I've installed SP1 on 4 laptops, 2 portable hard drives, and a desktop and have not had a problem ....yet. Watch, now that I'm bragging everything will crash.

Ok. Make that many of us have had some troubles. The reason that some of you young guys haven't had problems is because us older, more experienced guys have shown you the way and taught you the right way to do it.:hehe:

I'll agree with that. If it wasn't for you, Bob Pearson, Curtis, Ed, Paul, Peter, Rich, a whole bunch of others, and this forum, I'd still be floundering along with MSTS.

Yeah Mike, it seems you have to reinstall the game from scratch. I'll come over to your house and fix it so we can continue working on the GTW Michigan Air Line. -Chris
