Unwanted slowing at stations

I have a seemingly intermitent problem, where trains, while under AI control, slow down at some, but not all, passenger stations, when they've been instructed to go on to a track mark beyond that station. This happens in two areas, and I've tried using both the "30m station" and the "multiple industry new" tracks.

Has anyone else noticed this problem? I'm assuming it may have something to do with trackmarks, or signals, or some combination of them both.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it.

It may be the station track thats trying to take control of the train.

I've never had them slow down but I've had the station grab the train and stop it.

Thanks - I figured it was just some wierd anomoly.

Guess I'll just have to deal with it.
