Hi all, I have been working msflight sim, lots of way's to make your own controls. I have not found one forum or thread on making your own controls, or anything on interface hardware for trainz?. I found one set of controls for $170+. I find it hard to believe that you all use the keyboard.
( It's the simple things that confuse us.)

There's always the cab controls, usable in most locos. You can select between DCC and CAB control when first opening a session.
Raildriver is the only control hardware I know of.

There are various programmable gamepads/controlers that will work. I use a Saitek P990 - Dual analog with D-pad.

Ay caramba! :hehe:
Brilliant nismit, brilliant. But don't think I haven't thought about that idea before. It should be possible (and as long as I can choose which colour spray can I get...).
The real trick is how do you do a steam cab?
Personally I always favoured the idea of building it around a fireplace but ya know, fire regulations and such like...:p
Cheers

Quite a few years ago, Model Railroader had an article about a train show that had a mock up of a cab running that OTHER simulator, it might have been RailDriver that did the booth.
