I know it's possible to use TrainzObjectz to do mass-replacements of track and other items...
Has anybody figured out how to replace track in TRS2006?
Now that I've laid miles and miles of track, which looked fine before I did any landscaping, I'd like to change it.

Open trainzMap, open route, doubleclick on the track or trackside object you wish to replace.
A window will open - follow instructions.
The big difference between TO and TM is that TO will also handle scenery objects. TM doesn't.
That's why I keep TRS2004 and TO on my PC.
To change out a couple of hundred trees in one go is a big timesaver. Doesn't happen every day, but still--
Cheers

Thanks a million! It worked like a charm. Geez, it couldn't have been more simple.
