Lost config

I have spent a great deal of time building a railway of the Malley region in Victoria Australia.
I tried to find the map in survayor but it was no longer there. All the files seem to be there and intact except for the config file, it has nothing in it at all.
Can some one tell me if it is at all possible to recover this file and if so how.

2006? It may still be in the database, but the database is not communicating well right now.

Just an off chance but it has happened to me, take a look in the recycle bin and also check in my documents
