Hi everyone. Here's the latest screenies from my work in progress. Done about a quarter of the route so far. For those unfamiliar with the area, the line is a single-track rural line connecting the Aix-Marseille and the Toulon-Nice-Ventimiglia lines. It was closed to passenger traffic just before WW2 and the last regular freight train ran in around 1980 when the bauxite mines closed. Today there's a tourist train between Carnoules and Brignoles and the occasional military train.

Below: The tourist train terminus at Carnoules Les Platanes.

The depot at Besse-sur-Issole, home to a railway museum

A level-crossing stop on the approach to Ste Anastasie. By the late 1980s the level-crossing and signalling equipment
had been removed (note de-wired telegraph poles), so trains have to carry extra crew to stop the traffic on the roads!

Ste Anastasie station. The station building has been restored and has a shop selling local goods and railway memorabilia.

The former Forcalquieret-Garéoult station, now a private dwelling. The train doesn't stop here.

Another level crossing stop as we approach Camps-la-Source.

Like the previous station, the station building at Camps-la-Source is also now a house.
