Is there a way to Force the AI to reverse after a coupling?

The title tells the story.

After coupling to a string over 20 or 25 cars the (Stupid) AI insists on NOT reversing as it should.
That really messes up putting together a 75 car train.

Any Ideas??

A quick check shows these 3 drivercommands:
<kuid2:70791:9001:1> Change Train Direction (Trainz-Build 2.2)
<kuid2:71155:60010:1> Change Direction Command (Trainz-Build 2.2)
<kuid2:833171:101022:1> TCL Change Direction (Trainz-Build 5.0)
All are available at the DLS.

Thanks Peter,

I have one of the older ones.....not too reliable!
I will try that 5.5 build.

Bummer, that one does not work either!

Well NONE of them work ....the headlights come on for a second only and
the train keeps going the wrong way

Dave,

Have you tried a wait command after uncoupling?

I have found from experience that a wait command will let the AI catch up on their actions and seems to prevent them from driving off or doing something else.

Hi John,

Oh, yes, that has been my basic go-to first!
However, I --think-- I have found a more fool-proof way.
Add Track Mark, name something related to the movement.
The command line then becomes;
Couple To xxx, Halt, Wait5, Nav to TMxxx, Couple To xxx................

I will try this ASAP,

Thanks, Dave
