Account related issues need to be brought up through the Helpdesk/Support button at the top of the screen. There is nothing we can do here on the forums.

A quick peruse of Jointed Rail doesn't show the CSX ones; but I figure it probably won't be long. They'll probably show up after CSX finishes making all of them; that will allow JR to sell them as a pack. More likely is that we'll see some ok reskins show up on the DLS before too long.

A quick search on the DLS for "LIRR" shows 45 assets. Plus there are other sites on the internet that may have more.

I'm 100% fine with them using the DLS; however N3V needs to give us a way to filter those assets out when searching on the DLS.

There is no review/approval process for exporting to CDP. That process is only for uploading to the DLS.

https://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/Help:Content_Manager cdp is a file format, like pdf or jpg. It's the specific file format for moving Trainz content between computers (and what you use if you're sharing your content with others).

Download it through the in-game Content Manager. Almost all browsers theses days no longer support the ftp protocol natively. If you want the cdp file for record/archival reasons, then you'll need a browser plug-in for the ftp to work.

It's paid but TransDEM will allow you to take a DEM map of somewhere in the world & convert it to a Trainz layout... There is also enough people around with copies, that if you find someone & ask nicely they may be willing to export for you.

PBR & non-PBR textures don't mix. I believe if you turn on compatibility mode the game will try it's best to make it work, but in general avoid mixing them.

What specifically about the forum makes you not want to buy Trainz? What would you suggest N3V do to make the forum better for new users? If it's the content creation part; there are lots of other areas of the forum, in fact out of the 57 categories, only 3 are truly about content creation...
