    "West from Denver" install issue

I purchased TRS2022 Platinum Edition, and installed all the routes that come with it. All of them installed okay apart from "West from Denver". I'm getting a "Failed to read package manifest" error but clicking retry does absolutely nothing and I cannot work out how to redownload the effected file.

Someone falsely claiming to be Steve Lerro??

Sometime ago I remember someone working on a PRR S1. I took a break from Trainz, so I'm not sure what happened to that, so I did a bit of googling and found this website: https://williamvu45.wixsite.com/billvutrainz/about There are some terrible, childlike reskins presumably uploaded without...

New Steam Era Route - Burnham Fay NER

Hi I have started work on a route set in late pre-grouping period (around 1918-1923ish) north-eastern England; completely fictional but with many areas based roughly on real locations. I'm going more for atmosphere over super-detail and accuracy as I tend to get burnt out when I try and...

    40ft Boxcar Problems

Hi, I'm having issues with the 40ft boxcars. The asset '40ft Boxcar 1937 ARR mesh library' is missing texture.txt files. Is there a fixed version available? Thanks

    Model Railroadz Question

Hi, I've got quite a good idea for one of these and I seem to remember a "blank" model railroadz route being made so you could do your own but I can't find it. Is it on the DLS?

    Potentially Sensitive Question

Hi, I'm doing a route based around 70s New York (roughly in the period 73 to 82 including GG1 operation, Penn Central etc) and I want your opinion on whether I should include the towers of the former World Trade Center in my route. Obviously in the period described they were a prominent (and...

Meet the World's Newest Steam Locomotive

After an absence of some 82 years, it is now finally possible to see 2ft Baldwin 2-4-2T 'Lyn' in steam again, thanks to the efforts of the '762 Club' who have now completed an arduous construction process that has taken over a decade. The new build locomotive first steamed on the 8th July 2017...

    DEM Request

Hi, Would it be possible for someone to do me a basic DEM map of the following area, for pre-SP1 TS12: I am embarking on a 'what if' project that depicts a narrow gauge railway running from Hedon to Withernsea. I did start something similar a while ago but I would like it to be true to the...

    Getting a new graphics card!

Okay, so I'm getting a new graphics card. I've finally lost patience with the crappy integrated graphics on my PC. I quite like the look of this...

    When were stock cars retired?

Hi, I need some help for a real-life (North American) modelling project. When did 40' stock cars, box cars and other rolling stock built from the 1900s to the 40s disappear? The proposed layout is set in the late 60s/early 70s, and the local model shop has huge amounts of Life-Like 2000 40'...

    Disaster!

Okay, I'll admit, I've been a top-class muppet :o I've been working on a route for some time now, just relying on autosave, and saving it as AUTOSAVE. I've been doing this for so long, I've forgotten that should I go to another route, the autosave on that route will overwrite my previous route...

    Sherman Hill Route- Cannot find?

Hi, I have been looking for this route recently, but no-where can I find it. The Trainz Italia International website seems to have completely disappeared, aside from a bit with the Donner Pass route on it and the International forum. None of the links in said forum seem to work. The 844s have...

    New Build Steam

I thought I'd create a thread to discuss and update the community on all the New-Build steam (and occasionally diesel) projects going on at the moment. Might have been done before, but I checked and I couldn't find any. Here is the current state of affairs: 2ft Gauge Baldwin 2-4-2T 'Lyn' The...

    Buildings like these?

Hi, Does anyone out there know of buildings that look like these? I need a large, modern shopping outlet like this for my project. Bit of a long shot I know but I thought I'd see if anybody here knew where I could get some.

    Peter D Hick's MK4s

Hi, When I try to use the afterformentioned coaches in TS12, when I get to an interactive station I get a script error and the doors never close, so I can't drive off. I literally can't move, the program forbids it, doors open or not. Is there a way of fixing this?

South Western Main Line - Woking - Basingstoke - WIP

Hi, As some of you may have guessed, I am currently attempting to recreate a section of the SWML for Trainz. Currently, I only plan on doing Woking to Basingstoke (the full thing would be a bit much!) but I won't rule out going a bit further once I've finished that bit ;) The route will be set...

BR Class 47 in PRR livery?

This is not a joke. Whilst browsing the interwebs lately I came across this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/77593728@N08/26387135575/in/dateposted/ Prototype for everything, huh? Yup, it's a bog-standard 47 in PRR Tuscan complete with a 'Keystone' on the side. Can anyone explain how this came to...

    British Rail News

Thought I'd start a thread to cover recent developments in the British railway sector. So, without further ado, here are the week's headlines: -Eurostar is to withdraw and scrap most of it's original 20-year old Class 373 TGV TMST units, keeping and refurbishing a small number of units. -They...

    Beyer Garratts in America

Hi, I was playing around with the Northbay route the other day, more specifically, the NG11 Garratt that came with it. Now, that is most definitely a model of a South African prototype, which leaves me to wonder how many Garratts actually operated in the USA? I can't think of any standard gauge...
