Yes, I can confirm that I am using the latest OS build. Updated just a few days ago. The fact that you do not have a screenshot folder is interesting and may be a reason why the screenshots are not being saved. But as to why there is no screenshot holder ????

I just tried it and I can confirm that wreeder is correct. The screenshots taken in both Surveyor and Driver appear in your C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\N3V Games\trs22\build <id>\screenshots folder (or wherever you have set your local user data folder). Check your Trainz Settings Install...

Not seeing that here in CM on my system. Nearly all the DLS assets that I have checked have their image showing when you double click the asset.

I agree with Forester1. I have 0 st_mm assets installed and there are none of the DLS I have 488 st_rmm assets installed (most of them packaged) and there are another 900 odd on the DLS (including obsolete versions).
